P4 Youth Cultural Centre: Co-Creating Culture, Inclusion and Youth Participation

P4 Youth Cultural Centre in Varaždin, Croatia, developed by Youth Association V.U.K., is an independent youth cultural centre focused on culture, education, social inclusion and active youth participation.
The centre provides a platform for artistic expression, civic engagement and support for young people, particularly those from vulnerable or marginalised groups. Through its programme, P4 creates a space where young people can explore ideas, express themselves, participate in community life and develop their own initiatives.
Its activities include cultural events, educational workshops and social programmes, ranging from exhibitions, concerts and theatre events to media literacy trainings, mental health support and LGBTQ+ initiatives. This diversity of content allows the centre to respond to different needs and interests, while keeping young people at the centre of programme development.
A key strength of P4 is its structured approach to youth participation. Young people contribute ideas through consultations and surveys, while volunteers are actively involved in programme delivery and organisational tasks.
