Digital Literacy Program Successfully Launched
The Digital Literacy Program, a flagship initiative of the NextGen Platform, has been successfully launched across five rural communities. In its first month, the program has already reached over 200 young participants aged 15-25.
The curriculum covers essential digital skills including computer basics, internet safety, online communication tools, and introduction to coding. Each community center has been equipped with computers and high-speed internet access donated by our corporate partners.
Local volunteers, trained through our train-the-trainer program, are leading the sessions. This sustainable model ensures that communities can continue the program independently while building local capacity.
Early feedback indicates high engagement levels, with participants showing particular interest in social media marketing and basic web development. Plans are underway to expand the program to ten additional communities in the coming quarter.
